Legislative Directory

The Legislative Directory is designed and maintained by the NRLN Legislative Committee.  Full text of proposed legislation is available, as well as Shareholder proposals.

Here is how you can take action using the CAPWIZ site:

1) Go the NRLN website at www.nrln.org
2) Type your zip code in the "Write to Congress" box at the top of the home page.
3) You will be directed to the NRLN CapWiz site that provides legislative information.  Inside the "Action Alert" box, please click on the appropriate alert.
4) You will be directed to the "Action Alert" page.  Please type in your zip code again in the "Take Action" box to the right.
5) Please follow the directions carefully.  You can edit the letters to fit your own personal situation, and are strongly recommended to do so.

We urge you to add your own messages to the form letters, as it is very meaningful to legislators to see and hear the personal stories of their constituents.
