Volunteer

For our Organization to succeed we need interested volunteers for regional directors, public relations, membership drives, shareholder proposals, legislative research and networking, communications, subject matter research and organization liaisons.  Please check the Volunteer tab.

PLEASE VOLUNTEER!
You can...

• Write letters to Congress, newspapers, etc.—The home page frequently will have a request for personal action and a link to the appropriate information site.  Check our web site for ACTION items often, write letters and RALLY OTHERS.

• Manage a letter writing campaign—volunteer your letter ability.  We need those of us who write well to be available to get our thoughts across accurately and crisply.

• Be a Board Member—serve in a management  or advisory capacity

• Be a State or Regional coordinator—represent fellow AT&Ters in your area by keeping them informed and recruiting new members your area

• Do legislative research—work with our colleagues on healthcare, pension or other important issues

• Serve on a committee for Pension or Healthcare as the ACER representative

• Be an organization Liaison—Represent ACER with  the other retiree organizations under NRLN

• Do financial research and audit of AT&T 5500 financial reports and Medical Trust funds

• RALLY OTHERS—share your emails and views with other AT&Ters and encourage them to join AT&T Concerned Employee and Retirees
